Job Summary
Conduct cross-disciplinary planning for data center projects, including detailed cost estimation and functional specification development. Select appropriate technologies and components prior to the offer phase, covering medium voltage systems, energy supply, security, building automation, and passive data networks. Ensure compliance with relevant standards such as EN 50600 and BSI IT-Grundschutz. Prepare precise quantity estimates and cost forecasts for each project. This role requires a Dipl.-Ing. or Bachelor of Engineering with extensive experience in data center planning and the ability to work independently. Travel is required for 2–3 days monthly.
Required Qualifications
- Abgeschlossenes Studium (Dipl.-Ing. oder Bachelor of Engineering) im Bereich Informationstechnologie oder eine vergleichbare Berufsausbildung mit einschlägiger Praxis
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der eigenverantwortlichen Planung und Bearbeitung komplexer Rechenzentrumsprojekte
- Sicherer Umgang mit Normen und Standards im Bereich Rechenzentrumsplanung (z. B. EN 50600, BSI IT-Grundschutz, KRITIS)
- Bereitschaft zu Reisen an 2–3 Tagen pro Monat
