Job Summary
Manage core datacenter infrastructure by installing, configuring, and maintaining physical servers, storage, and network components. Administer OpenStack and Kubernetes environments, monitor pods and services, and secure GPU servers for AI/ML workloads. Implement network policies across switches, firewalls, and load balancers while automating operations through Python or Bash scripting. Ensure 24/7 availability by executing backup and disaster recovery strategies, documenting changes, and providing 1st/2nd level support to internal teams. Participate in on-call rotation after initial onboarding. Work within a growing Green-IT team focused on European digital sovereignty and open-source standards.
Required Qualifications
- Abgeschlossene Ausbildung zum Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration oder eine vergleichbare IT-Qualifikation
- Sicherheit in Linux-Umgebungen (z. B. Ubuntu, Rocky Linux)
- Fundiertes Verständnis für Virtualisierungstechnologien wie KVM oder QEMU
- Vertrautes Verständnis von TCP/IP, Routing und Switching
- Erfahrung mit VLANs und Netzwerksegmentierung
- Freude am Shell-Scripting (Bash)
- Erfahrung mit Monitoring-Tools wie Zabbix oder Prometheus
- Bereitschaft, nach einer intensiven Einarbeitungsphase einen Teil unserer On-Call-Bereitschaftsdienste zu übernehmen
