Job Summary
Face-to-face Twi language interpretation contractor role in Central Ohio. You will interpret in medical, social service, and other appointments; you decide your own schedule with assignments available 24/7/365. Responsibilities emphasize providing accurate interpretation for bilingual speakers, leveraging training from accredited interpreter programs, and maintaining required background checks and bilingual proficiency certifications. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Be eligible to work in the United States
- Pass a Federal Criminal Background Check based on fingerprints and a 10-panel drug screening (at no cost to you)
- Provide proof of program completion from an accredited interpreter training of at least 40 hours (e.g. Bridging the Gap, Access Academy, Court Interpretation, Certificate or Degree in interpretation from an accredited college or university)
- Provide Certification of Bilingual Proficiency or pay for and complete a 3rd Party Bilingual Fluency Evaluation through an accredited testing and evaluation organization
