Job Summary
Facade Engineer to support façade design and consulting in Brisbane. Responsibilities include engineering analysis and calculations, coordinating facade design with other disciplines and with tender/construction documentation, preparing technical reports for small to medium projects, and managing small projects. Requires a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, 2-6 years’ façade experience across medium-to-large scale projects, and proficiency with Strand7, Mathcad, AutoCAD, THERM, and WINDOW. Ability to support technical requirements, report writing, communication, and mentoring junior engineers. The role is based in the Brisbane office with flexible/family-friendly hours and the option to work from home; the organization offers global mobility and multiple employee benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Typically 2-6 years’ relevant experience in façades
- Experience across a range of façade types on medium-to-large scale projects
- Capable in supporting project technical requirements including design engineering, thermal modelling and detailing
- Proficiency in engineering and drafting software: Strand7, Mathcad, AutoCAD, THERM, WINDOW
- Capacity to support the team and internal stakeholders to efficiently deliver projects
- Good report writing and effective communication skills
- Capacity to help train and mentor junior engineers
