Job Summary
Senior Facade BIM Engineer leads development, coordination, and management of facade-specific Building Information Models across design, fabrication, and construction. Oversees clash detection, design coordination, and data integrity while mentoring junior BIM staff and collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to achieve seamless project delivery. Produces coordinated BIM outputs using Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, develops LOD 300–500 models, and supports 4D/5D workflows if required. Ensures compliance with BEPs and facade fabrication requirements, and represents BIM capabilities in client and stakeholder interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Revit proficiency
- Navisworks
- AutoCAD
- BIM coordination and clash detection
- Experience with BIM outputs (plans, sections, elevations, details) and shop drawings
- Understanding of BEP and international BIM standards
- Ability to mentor junior BIM staff
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Autodesk Professional Certification (Revit/BIM) is a plus
- Exposure to 4D, COBie, or digital twin workflows (preferred)
- Exposure to computational design or BIM automation (preferred)
