Job Summary
Perform skilled HVAC technician duties including routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment failures involving electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or HVAC systems, and servicing ice makers, pneumatic tube carriers, and boiler plant operations. Execute preventative and corrective maintenance work orders while maintaining building finishes through drywall finishing, painting, staining, and wall covering application. Assist with staff training, participate in lean initiatives and assigned projects, and make recommendations for process improvements. Requires a Journeyman's Card, EPA refrigerant certification, and four years of combined maintenance or commercial HVAC experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent with GED
- Valid state driver's license
- Journeyman's Card in HVAC
- Associate's Degree in HVAC
- EPA refrigerant certification
- Four-years combined experience as a maintenance tech and/or a commercial HVAC technician
Desired Qualifications
- Two-years technical training from a vocational or technical school
