Job Summary
Maintain or repair equipment used to process aggregates, including conveyors, screen decks, cone crushers, feeders, and pumps. Fabricate and assemble structural metal products such as frameworks, shells for machinery, ovens, tanks, stacks, and metal parts for buildings and bridges. Ensure a safe work environment by following company policies and procedures while reading blueprints and operating shears, benders, and other metal works equipment. Weld in varied settings including heights and tight spaces. Requires AWS certification, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and five years' experience as a certified welder. Hourly pay is $46.30.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Experience with AWS certification, lathes, milling machines and other related equipment
- Able to read plans and blueprints
- Experience with shears, benders and other metal works equipment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
- Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Able to work and weld in a variety of settings including at heights, in tight spaces and awkward positions
- 5 years' experience as a certified welder preferred
