Job Summary
Maintain or repair processing equipment for aggregate and ready-mix plants, including conveyors, screen decks, cone crushers, feeders, and pumps. Fabricate and assemble structural metal products such as frameworks, shells for machinery, ovens, tanks, stacks, and metal parts for buildings and bridges. Ensure a safe work environment by following company policies while working in varied settings including heights, tight spaces, and awkward positions. Submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. AWS certification and five years of experience as a certified welder are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Experience with AWS certification, lathes, milling machines and other related equipment
- Able to read plans and blueprints
- Experience with shears, benders and other metal works equipment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
- Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Able to work and weld in a variety of settings including at heights, in tight spaces and awkward positions
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing
Desired Qualifications
- 5 years' experience as a certified welder preferred
