Job Summary
Maintain or repair processing equipment for aggregate and ready-mix plants, including conveyors, screen decks, cone crushers, feeders, and pumps. Fabricate and assemble structural metal products such as frameworks, shells for machinery, ovens, tanks, stacks, and metal parts for buildings and bridges. Ensure a safe work environment by following company policies and procedures. Work independently and as part of a team in various settings, including heights, tight spaces, and awkward positions. Requires AWS certification, experience with shears and benders, and the ability to read blueprints.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Experience with AWS certification
- Experience with lathes
- Experience with milling machines
- Experience with other related equipment
- Able to read plans and blueprints
- Experience with shears
- Experience with benders
- Experience with other metal works equipment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in Word
- Proficient in Excel
- Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Able to work and weld in a variety of settings including at heights
- Able to work and weld in a variety of settings including in tight spaces
- Able to work and weld in a variety of settings including in awkward positions
- Must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination
- Must submit to drug/alcohol screen
- Must submit to background check
Desired Qualifications
- 5 years' experience as a certified welder
