Job Summary
Maintain or repair processing equipment for aggregate and ready-mix plants, including conveyors, screen decks, cone crushers, feeders, and pumps. Fabricate and assemble structural metal products such as frameworks, shells for machinery, ovens, tanks, stacks, and metal parts for buildings and bridges. Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures while operating shears, benders, and other metal works equipment. Read plans and blueprints to execute tasks independently or as part of a team in varied settings, including heights and tight spaces. Submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Experience with AWS certification, lathes, milling machines and other related equipment
- Able to read plans and blueprints
- Experience with shears, benders and other metal works equipment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
- Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Able to work and weld in a variety of settings including at heights, in tight spaces and awkward positions
- 5 years' experience as a certified welder preferred
