Fabricator - Sign Manufacturing

Job Summary
Fabricate metal components using CLN Notcher, Bender, and Letter Lock Punch equipment to form materials into required shapes and dimensions for sign production. Install LED wiring and attach letter faces, perform trim-out operations, and maintain routine machine care to ensure optimal performance. Complete documentation including completion slips and material listings, then assist with handling, packing, and loading finished goods. Maintain flexibility for overtime and attend required training sessions while performing housekeeping tasks to keep the shop organized. This role supports Stratus' national brand implementation and maintenance, delivering ideal solutions for exterior signage and interior branding across the country.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- 1-2 years of fabrication experience
- Proficient in aluminum spool gun welding
- Basic mechanical and construction knowledge, including an understanding of metals, wood, plastic, blueprints, and fasteners
- Working knowledge of CLN machines, punch presses, press shears, and various power tools used in metal fabrication
- Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately
- Adequate mathematical skills for fabrication tasks
- High attention to detail to ensure precision and quality in all work
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods while operating machines and tools
- Ability to lift and handle heavy materials and equipment as required
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moderate to loud noise levels
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in the sign industry is a plus
