Fabricator

Fabricator/Service Technician at Motion Industries/GPC responsible for repairing, servicing, and building standard and custom hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems. Performs disassembly, inspection, troubleshooting, and component repair; designs, fabricates, machines, welds parts; tests repaired equipment and prepares for shipment or storage; provides customer explanations, may prepare quotes, and may take orders. Requires ability to read hydraulic schematics, operate shop equipment safely, and work independently or in a team; physically capable of lifting up to 100 pounds; includes potential overtime and weekend work. Locations include Edmonton AB, Stoney Creek ON, UAPINC, Home Quebec HQ, New-Brunswick HNB, Val d'Or QC, and Home Saskatchewan HSK in Canada, with a company-wide commitment to equal opportunity.
