Job Summary
Set up, operate, and maintain machinery to produce high-quality Manitou products through cutting and bending of sheet metal. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints, procure materials using measuring instruments, and operate equipment including lasers and press brakes. Complete production and quality paperwork, contact supervisors or maintenance for repairs, and notify the shift supervisor of any accidents or injuries. Perform tasks safely while adhering to all policies, check results for conformance to specifications, and assist with cross-training and additional assignments as requested by management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. independently
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings, standard work instructions, checklists, internal and external deviations, etc.
- Must operate the various equipment including lasers and press brakes
- Must use tape measure, square, protractor, dial caliper and plug gauges
- Must be a self-starter, team player, and have the ability to multitask
- Ability and willingness to take on additional assignments as requested by management
- Able to work overtime as required
- Must meet and exceed the above duties and responsibilities
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience is preferred
- Computer skills – knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite is preferred
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills
