Job Summary
Conduct welding and fabrication in shop and field environments, including pipe fitting and welding with electrode and MIG techniques. Assemble steel structures using fabrication drawings while performing general machining duties and basic machine shop practice. Work without direct supervision and complete all duties assigned by the shift supervisor, including overtime when required. Maintain proficiency in manual and CNC machining with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 5-Years of manual and CNC Machining experience
- Must complete Mechanical Apptitude Test
- Proficient in basic electrode and mig welding, including pipe fitting and pipe welding
- Able to assemble steel structures utilizing fabrication drawing
- Proficient in basic machine shop practice
- Able to work without direct supervision
- Able to work overtime when required
Desired Qualifications
- 2-Year verifiable work experience in industrial environment
- Completion of a recognized welding program or machine shop program
