Job Summary
Interior Door Fabricator responsible for designing, laying out, and securing door components to specifications, operating and maintaining fabricating machines (brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, grinders, drill presses), and ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced fabrication and distribution environment. Collaborates with warehouse/distribution teams to streamline production, support timely packaging and delivery, and drive continuous improvement to reduce waste and increase efficiency. Must be able to lift 50–90 lbs, work with a team, and comply with safety standards; forklift experience is preferred. Minimum education is a high school diploma or equivalent. This role is located in East Peoria, IL, with minimal local travel and no sponsorship required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of fabrication experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Forklift operation experience preferred
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Strong safety focus and reliability
- Ability to lift 50-90 lbs
