Job Summary
Conduct pre-installation calls with Sales Representatives to confirm scope, materials, and timelines, then perform on-site installation, splicing, repair, and fabrication of conveyor belting products. Complete post-installation follow-up calls to review work and ensure customer satisfaction while managing installation calendars, travel schedules, and expense reports. Maintain company vehicles and tools, identify customer needs for reorders or preventative maintenance, and collaborate with Sales teams to share field feedback. Keep accurate documentation of service visits, including installation reports and work orders, while participating in safety and technical training. Travel for in-state and out-of-state service work, including overnight trips, adhering to all safety rules and PPE requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Strong mechanical background
- Attention to detail
- Ability to adapt when jobsite conditions or customer needs change
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to work in tight spaces
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Ability to pass a background check
- High school diploma or equivalent education
