Fabricator II

Job Summary
Operate and set up multiple fabrication machines (drill presses, punch presses, saws, bending rolls, grinders, spot welders, and DNC equipment) to shape and alter sheet metal per drawings. Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to ensure part dimensions are accurate. Load/unload machines, stage raw materials, and assist with housekeeping, maintenance, and material staging. Collaborate in a team environment with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. This is a grade 2 position requiring experience with fabrication equipment; 1-2 years of manufacturing fabrication experience preferred. Safety-sensitive role due to operation of power tools and equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
- Ability to read drawings, blueprints and specifications
- Must understand work orders and work instructions
- 1-2 years of fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Previous experience with industry standard fabrication equipment
- Excellent attendance
- Ability to use handheld measuring tools to confirm product conformance
