Job Summary
Read and interpret blueprints and machine drawings to determine specific fabrication requirements. Operate shear, saws, iron workers, brake presses, and drill presses to fabricate components. Remove burrs and sharp edges from parts, verify dimensions per First Article Inspection procedure, and perform autonomous maintenance on machinery. Move and position materials and finished products using hand tools, overhead hoists, and forklifts. Requires a high school diploma or GED with 1-3 months related experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and continuous standing for a 10-hour shift.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma, GED, or at least 1-3 months related experience
- basic language and math skills and reasoning ability
- knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software
- ability to stand and walk continuously and reach/bend frequently over the course of a 10-hour shift
- ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
- manual dexterity and the ability to maintain a frequent firm grasp
- ability to operate a foot pedal for machine operation
- ability to pass a physical strength test to perform the job
- vision with depth perception
