Job Summary
MIG and TIG weld aluminum or stainless steel in flat, vertical, or horizontal positions at certified levels, including 6G certification. Operate advanced welding machines, read blueprints, and execute saws, shears, brake presses, grinders, and riveting tasks per job specifications. Conduct leak tests, pressure testing, and LN2 shock testing while bending, rolling, and forming materials. Travel up to 10% to customer sites. Requires consistent reliability, strong attention to detail, and ability to work in loud environments while wearing full PPE. Required Qualifications
- Vocational High School diploma or equivalent in Metal Fabrication
- Two to Ten years of manufacturing experience
- Preferably in Metal Fabrication
- MIG Weld Aluminum or Stainless Steel in either a flat, vertical or horizontal direction at a certified level
- TIG Weld Aluminum or Stainless Steel either flat, vertical, or horizontal, at 6G certified level
- Advanced knowledge of weld machine setup processes
- Advanced print reading skills
- Advanced level of knowledge within the following Manufacturing Processes
- Saws, Shears, Brake Press, Grinders, Sanders, Beveling, Riveting, and Rollers
- Leak Test, Pressure Testing, LN2 Shock Testing
- Bending, Rolling, Forming materials in position and out
- Must be able to wear safety shoes, goggles, hoods with protective lenses, and other PPE designed to prevent injuries
- Must be able to regularly stand
- Must be able to regularly use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to climb or balance
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to talk or hear
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must have close vision
- Must have peripheral vision
- Must have depth perception
- Must have the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to occasionally work near moving mechanical parts
- Must be able to occasionally work in high, precarious places
- Must be able to occasionally be exposed to risk of electrical shock
- Must be able to work in a very loud noise level environment
- Minimum to 10% travel requirement to customer sites
