Job Summary
Entry-level Fabricator responsible for learning the process of assembling and installing pipes in units; duties include bending, cutting, and shaping metal, reading blueprints, using an acetylene/oxygen torch set, and reading a tape measure to 1/8 inch; trains in multiple manufacturing positions (assembly, paint, wire and weld) and works with metal and nonmetal pipes and fittings (iron, steel, copper, plastic); first-year benefits include paid time off, holidays, health benefits, life insurance, disability, 401k; shifts include 1st and 2nd with regular hours and occasional overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to bend, cut, and shape metal
- Ability to use acetylene and oxygen torch set
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints
- Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/8 inch
- Must be able to use hand tools
- Experience with Brazing and/or TIG welding is helpful
