Job Summary
Fabricator to construct, assemble, and repair truck bodies and subcomponents in the truck production process. Read blueprints, measure, cut, and assemble materials; operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, welders, and press; fabricate products to meet quality standards and specifications; perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment; follow safety guidelines; collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to complete projects on time.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
- Proven experience in fabrication, welding, or a related field
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Proficiency with hand tools and fabrication machinery
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
