Fabricator/Assembler I - 1st Shift

Job Summary
Safely perform basic fabrication and assembly tasks under supervision, following company and regulatory standards. Operate basic hand tools and simple machinery to assist with processing and assembling components, including saws, shears, and spot welders. Use jigs, fixtures, and clamps to align workpieces with accuracy while maintaining attention to quality and promptly reporting defective materials. Keep work areas clean and organized to support 6S/lean manufacturing practices. Handle, move, and lift materials safely, including tubing and components, while working collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, standard work documents, routings, and use measuring devices (e.g., calipers, tape measures, gauges)
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and reliability
- Consistent and punctual attendance
- Physical ability to lift, move, and handle metal tubing and related materials as required
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
- Currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, J-1, F-1, CPT, OPT, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication
- Familiarity with fabrication tools
- Experience interpreting detailed technical drawings or specifications
- Knowledge of 6S, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement practices
