Job Summary
Review products to determine required repairs and cut, trim, file, bend, or smooth parts to meet insurance quality standards. Ensure proper tools and materials are available while adhering to assembly safety standards and quality control protocols. Collaborate with team members to identify and develop improved repair methods. Maintain a hazard-free warehouse environment by complying with all safety requirements and injury prevention measures. Work in an environment with variable noise, lighting, and temperature conditions while lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent practical experience
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours
- Lift and move totes up to 50 pounds
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head
- Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations
- Must be able to cut, trim, file, bend, or smooth parts
- Ability to adhere to assembly safety standards
- Ability to comply with all safety standards and requirements to assure a safe and hazard-free warehouse environment with focus on injury prevention
- Ability to identify and develop improved methods of repair
- Strong focus on quality – deeply care about the product and your work
- High degree of professional credibility, including responsiveness, team focus, and interest and ability to perform work in a safe environment
Desired Qualifications
- Hands on repair experience
- Hand on experience in these fields - Construction, Drywall, Painting, and Landscaping or a role where you had to pay close attention to quality and detail
