Job Summary
Fabricator on the 2nd shift responsible for bending, seating, flanging and top flanging material according to work orders and production drawings to meet safety, quality, efficiency and lean production goals. Willingness to learn and operate other manual fabrication operations such as shear, weld, punch press, paint, and CNC. Operate press brake and other manual fabrication equipment; perform quality inspections to drawings and specifications using calipers, micrometers, and tape measure; communicate with department leadership regarding issues and improvements; package finished products, label, palletize, and stage work. Requires High School Diploma or GED and ~3 years related experience; physical work including standing 8-12 hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and potential overtime; full-time 2nd shift in Columbus, OH with a $1.00 shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3 years Related experience and/or training in Production/Processing or related field
- Knowledge of production drawings and reading prints
- Ability to operate manual fabrication equipment (press brake, etc.)
- Active listening and communication with department leadership
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Willingness to learn and operate other manual fabrication operations such as shear, weld, punch press, paint, and CNC
