Job Summary
Fabricator/Welder needed for 1st shift in Lancaster, PA. Assists Shop Foreman to produce projects within labor hours, material quantities, and quality/safety standards. Responsibilities include fabricating and fitting structural steel, reading tapes, reading blueprints and weld symbols, operating structural fabrication equipment (saws, brakes, drills), and performing miscellaneous fabrication tasks to meet project requirements. Shift is Monday–Friday with 6:00am–5:00pm typical hours; pay $20–$27/hr; benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, HSA, life insurance, EAP, and referral program. Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
Required Qualifications
- 2yrs. Fabrication/welding experience
- Must be able to fabricate and fit structural steel
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Ability to read blueprints and understand/read weld symbols
- Operate structural fabrication equipment
- Run saws, brakes, drills
- Structural steel welding
