FABRICATION WORKER

Job Summary
Operate machinery including drilling, welding, cutting, and hydraulic CNC equipment to fabricate parts and assemble components per specifications. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine materials and procedures, while inspecting finished products for quality standards. Perform routine maintenance on tools, handle materials up to 50 pounds, and maintain accurate records of work orders and inventory. Troubleshoot fabrication issues and collaborate with team members to ensure timely production. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and perform general housekeeping duties. This safety-sensitive role requires physical stamina for standing, lifting, and repetitive motions, with a preference for candidates having prior fabrication or welding experience. Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, instructional manuals and understand specifications
- Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in a manufacturing environment
- Basic math skills for measuring, calculating dimensions, and material quantities
- Proficiency in using fabrication tools and machinery
- Ability to lift heavy materials up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, unassisted, frequently throughout the day
- Ability to stand or be on your feet for long periods of time
- Ability to do the following: bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, kneeling, balancing, pushing, pulling, reaching overhead, and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle, crane, tractor, etc
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fabrication, manufacturing, or mechanical environment
- Experience with welding, cutting, or machine operation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical certifications or training in fabrication or welding
