Job Summary
The Fabrication Worker will assist in fabricating parts and assembling components, operate machinery including drilling and welding tools, interpret blueprints, and perform quality control on finished products. Responsibilities include material handling, routine maintenance of tools, collaboration with team members, and accurate documentation of work. Key qualifications include mechanical aptitude, basic math skills, and proficiency in using fabrication tools. Previous experience in fabrication or manufacturing environments is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, instructional manuals
- Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in a manufacturing environment
- Basic math skills for measuring, calculating dimensions, and material quantities
- Proficiency in using fabrication tools and machinery
- Ability to lift heavy materials up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods
- Self-motivated and eager to learn
- Ability to follow directions, both written and verbal
Desired Qualifications
- Technical certifications or training in fabrication or welding
