Fabrication Technician

Job Summary
Execute hands-on tasks assigned by the Engineering Team, including fabrication and machining of prototype parts and tooling. Assist in designing and implementing experiments to evaluate prototype products and processes while collaborating to brainstorm and test new solutions. Contribute to troubleshooting issues during development phases and document fabrication techniques for training. Assist with transitioning from development to manufacturing by training production personnel on new products and processes. Perform general housekeeping of work areas. Requires high school diploma, CNC machine shop experience, and strong problem-solving skills. Onsite amenities include a fitness center and sports courts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Ability to get along with others and work in a team atmosphere
- Ability to use personal computers to communicate and document information
- Experience using manual or CNC machine shop equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience programing and set up of CNC machines
- Experience using metal fabrication equipment
- Experience with mold fabrication and use
- Experience with thermoplastic or thermoset resin and elastomer
