Job Summary
Directly oversee the Fabrication team, focusing on leading, coaching, and mentoring team members to maximize performance. Implement training and development initiatives to ensure team proficiency and adherence to safety and quality standards. Communicate effectively across shifts, maintain a clean work environment, and ensure timely completion of machine units. Utilize strong organizational and prioritization skills to troubleshoot and resolve equipment and process issues, while maintaining a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's degree in Machine Tool Technology or a related field preferred
- 3 years of manufacturing supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in interviewing, performance management, coaching, and developing teams advantageous
- Proficient in reading CAD drawings and blueprints
- Demonstrated ability to set up and operate CNC equipment
- Experience in machinery fabrication and measuring instruments
- Strong prioritization, time management, organization, proactive decision-making, and attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft products including proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Confidence and ability to communicate professionally with internal and external customers verbally and in writing
Additional Requirements
- Ability to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb
