Fabrication Production Clerk

Job Summary
Track production progress and perform quantity checks on fabrication orders to support on-time delivery. Analyze daily and weekly orders to assign lead times based on company capacities and communicate constraints to planners and leadership. Research discrepancies, report equipment malfunctions, and notify maintenance immediately to prevent schedule impacts. Maintain production reports, attend "Clear to build" meetings, and ensure compliance with safety policies and 5S standards. Notify supervisors of non-compliance and escalate potential issues affecting manufacturing schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Over 6 months to and including 3 years' experience in Manufacturing
- Equivalent to 1 to 3 years applied trades training
- Must have good computer skills to include Excel
- Working knowledge of an ERP system
- Ability to read and comprehend manufacturing orders and routers
- Ability to use basic math
- Requires the use of judgement to comply with instructions and perform work routines involving order accuracy and verify amounts within the limits of recognized or standard methods
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to sit
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to climb or balance
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must have close vision
- Must have distance vision
- Must be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
- Must be occasionally exposed to warm to hot weather conditions and vibration
- Must be able to tolerate moderate to high noise levels and require hearing protection
- Must have exceptional attendance
- Must know and follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Must be able to participate in all HPT functions
