Job Summary
Lead and deliver hands-on fabrication and product-training programs for fabrication, assembly, and production employees. Develop structured training aligned to the skills matrix, teach blueprint interpretation and fabrication drawing literacy, evaluate competency, and help close skill gaps. Demonstrate and teach broad fabrication techniques (layout, forming, assembly, quality) across product lines (acoustical doors, windows, sound barriers, enclosures), support production throughput, and troubleshoot manufacturing issues. Serve as SME for reading engineering drawings and BOMs; translate drawings into production outputs and ensure shop-floor documentation clarity. Drive cross-training, track certification progression, and align skills progression with compensation. Reinforce quality and Lean improvement, support OSHA safety standards, and participate in safety audits. Requires strong communication, hands-on problem solving, and the ability to train frontline employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
