Job Summary
Operate and setup various pieces of equipment including roll form, drill, tap machines, and gasket cutters in the Fabrication 1 area to perform forming operations of variety of parts to normal tolerances. Adjust mechanisms and fixtures as needed, read blueprints, bills of material, and work orders, and change or recondition punches and dies. Set stop gauges on the brake and assist press brake and CNC laser operators when required. Maintain constant alertness and safety while lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods. Requires at least one year of related experience in a fabrication setting.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year related experience and/or training
- preferably working in a fabrication setting
- Able to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and bill of materials
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to read simple to complex blueprints, bills of materials, operation sheets, and work orders
- Must be able to change and or recondition punches and dies as required
- Must be able to set stop gauges on brake
- Ablility to read blueprints and set programming and perform bending operations on machine
Desired Qualifications
- At least one year of related experience and/or training preferred on different types of Press Brake equipment
