Job Summary
Remove product from conveyor belts and pack it into drying racks, cardboard boxes, or plastic bags. Use heavy-duty tape machines to cut and wrap finished goods for storage and delivery. Perform visual inspections with measuring devices to ensure product quality, documenting discrepancies on production and quality reports. Inventories supplies like tape and bags, notifying material handlers of shortages. Maintain a clean work area and report any safety, production, or quality issues immediately to the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Must be able to do simple math
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shift
- Week one: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 5:00AM-5:00PM
- Week two: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday 5:00AM-5:00PM
- Must be able to lift and/or carry bulky objects weighing up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to work efficiently and repetitively with hands
- Must have physical strength, stamina and coordination
- Must be available to work overtime as necessary
- Will work in a dusty and sometimes wet environment
- Will work in cold/hot/humid areas based on the seasons
- Ear protection required

- 3-6 months' experience working in a manufacturing environment
