Fabrication Operator Lead - 2nd Shift

Fabrication Team Lead on the 2nd shift overseeing a manufacturing line in cooling fabrication. Lead and mentor a dedicated team, provide day-to-day operational support, training, and on-the-job development. Partner with the Production Supervisor to resolve issues and meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals. Maintain production flow by filling in on the line during PTO/breaks/absences and enforce department policies. Drive Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement efforts to reduce waste and promote 5S and Lean methods. Manage safety culture and engage employees to maintain high performance. Requires 3–5 years in production/manufacturing with proficiency in Lean and sustained improvement, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills, and experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, JD Edwards, and internet-based systems. The role also calls for operating equipment within the area, including CRTs and forklifts, and supporting training and standard work compliance.
