Job Summary
Coordinate the timely and accurate movement of product into, within, and out of assigned work areas to ensure uninterrupted production flow. Execute and coordinate employee training to maintain cross-training, policies, and procedures while filling in line positions as needed. Drive a continuous improvement culture by involving staff in problem-solving, recognizing exceptional work, and coaching operators to meet safety, quality, and delivery metrics. Monitor and enforce job expectations to achieve desired results through analytical thinking and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- Metal fabrication experience
- Grinding
- Welding
- Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience
- Experience conducting training in alignment to company policies and procedures
- Ability to communicate job expectations to operators
- Ability to achieve desired results by monitoring, coaching, and enforcing policies and procedures
- Ability to motivate a team to meet safety, quality and delivery metrics
- Skilled in analytical thinking and problem solving
- Continuous improvement efforts
