Job Summary
Operate and set up woodworking machinery, including the 24" horizontal timber re-saw, four-sided planer, straight line hardwood rip saw, and Newman hardwood planer. Read tape measures accurately to meet order specifications and inspect outbound orders for quality standards. Perform routine equipment checks, maintain machinery, and report maintenance needs to the Mill Manager. Assist with training and coaching other team members on resaw and planer operations while maintaining a strong focus on workplace safety and safe equipment operation. Support custom timber and hardwood orders by helping train others and maintaining high operational standards.
