Job Summary
Lead a team of workers by assigning tasks, providing guidance, and mentoring members to maximize productivity and quality. Allocate resources including labor, equipment, and materials to support the production plan while monitoring and enforcing quality control processes. Investigate and address production and quality issues as they arise, ensuring all safety protocols and regulations are followed. Conduct safety training and audits, identify process optimization opportunities, and implement changes to enhance efficiency. Maintain accurate inventory levels, coordinate with inventory control teams to minimize waste, and generate regular reports on performance metrics. Provide updates to management on production status and challenges.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing role
- Strong knowledge of production processes
- Strong knowledge of quality control
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products
- Proficiency in using production management software and systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain 608 universal refrigerant certification
- Ability to communicate in written and spoken English language
- Communicates effectively in written and spoken form
- Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills
- Exhibits good decision making and analytical problem solving abilities
- Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills
- Works effectively in a team environment
- Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- Lift up to 50lbs
- Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours
- Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure
