Job Summary
Lead and support an assigned fabrication production line to meet daily goals by assigning work, balancing staffing, and keeping product flowing efficiently. Monitor line performance, identify bottlenecks, and resolve issues quickly while coaching, training, and supporting team members to promote accountability. Ensure all USDA, HACCP, GMP, SSOP, and company food safety standards are followed and maintain a strong safety culture by reinforcing safe work practices and proper PPE use. Track downtime, communicate equipment concerns, and report production issues to supervisors. Serve as the first point of leadership for hourly team members and help communicate operational updates.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in beef processing, preferably in fabrication
- Previous experience leading, training, or mentoring employees in a production environment
- Working knowledge of USDA regulations and food safety requirements
- Ability to work in a cold, wet, physically demanding manufacturing environment
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Overtime and occasional weekend work as production demands require
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Previous experience as a Lead, Trainer, or Supervisor
- Experience monitoring production yields and line efficiencies
- Knowledge of boxed beef specifications and customer quality requirements
