Job Summary
Lead AAON's Production Leader Program by assigning tasks, guiding team members, and motivating staff to maximize productivity and quality. Allocate labor, equipment, and materials to support production plans while monitoring and enforcing quality control processes. Investigate production and quality issues, ensure safety protocols are followed, and conduct safety training and audits. Identify opportunities for process optimization, implement changes to enhance efficiency, and maintain accurate inventory levels. Generate regular reports on performance metrics and provide updates to management on production status and challenges.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing role
- Strong knowledge of production processes
- Strong knowledge of quality control
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products
- Proficiency in using production management software and systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain 608 universal refrigerant certification
- Ability to communicate in written and spoken English language
- Communicates effectively in written and spoken form
- Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills
- Exhibits good decision making and analytical problem solving abilities
- Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills
- Works effectively in a team environment
- Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- Lift up to 50lbs
- Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours
- Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure
