Job Summary
Fabrication Yard Electrician responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in an onshore fabrication yard. Performs wiring and cable assembly, tests and diagnoses malfunctioning systems with test equipment, plans installations per wiring drawings and schematics, and ensures compliance with codes. Conducts inspections to identify hazards and ensure safety, recommends corrective actions, uses hand and power tools, and adheres to safety rules while performing all duties at the Fabrication Yard locations in Houma, LA (and Gray, LA).
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent education
- 2+ years of electrical experience in an industrial setting
- Basic written and verbal skills
- Must be reliable and have good time management skills
- Background investigation and pre-employment drug screen
- Successful completion of required training by Performance Energy Services
