Job Summary
Fabrication Associate - Entry Level responsible for setting up and maintaining shop machines for pipe fabrication; measure, record, and cut pipe with band saw and torch; thread and bevel pipe with Landis machines; measure and cut pipe to random lengths; move pipe within the yard; assemble pipe orders in single sticks or bundles; observe OSHA safety guidelines and Ferguson SOPs; operate powered industrial equipment as required; strong math skills and ability to calculate quantities; team-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Prior fabrication experience is preferred but not required
- Outstanding math skills and the ability to calculate quantities of product on hand
- Experience and training in operating machinery for cutting and threading pipe according to OSHA regulations preferred
- Ability to remain results-focused in a fast-paced customer service environment
- The ability to thrive in an inclusive environment
