Job Summary
Finish detailed panel assembly and liners using specifications, blueprints, mylar, and work orders. Debur and clean insert drill holes, apply adhesive to plugs and sleeves, and prepare assemblies for edge fill operations. Mix and apply adhesive to panel undercuts, hand route liners with pneumatic tools, and record materials while logging information on work orders and in SAP software. Assist the department supervisor in various fabrication activities and complete rework per Operations Engineering direction. Requires 1-3 years of assembly experience, blueprint reading skills, and ability to lift 50 lbs; shift flexibility including potential weekends and holidays is mandatory. DOD Secret Clearance and U.S. person status verification may be required.
Required Qualifications
- 1 - 3 years of assembly or manufacturing experience
- Must be able to read and know how to use blueprints and work orders
- Must have basic computer skills and knowledge
- Must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalency
- Must have English reading and verbal communication skills sufficient to read, understand and communicate the company operating procedures and policies
- Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs
- Must be able to demonstrate math proficiency equal to or greater than required for the position applied
- Must be available to work the shift specified by the position and be flexible to potential overtime on weekends/ holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Aircraft manufacturing a plus
- Construction, carpentry and forklift experience a plus
