Job Summary
Fabrication and Trailer Assembly Supervisor oversees and supports fabrication and trailer assembly production lines, supervises Fabricators, Welders, and Trailer Assemblers, and conducts onboarding and cross-training. Responsibilities include promoting safe work practices, maintaining quality outputs with component verification and QA checks, managing tool inventory, coordinating with other supervisors to optimize changeovers, contributing to problem solving and root-cause analysis, reviewing production results and schedules, fostering a positive work environment, and providing leadership, performance feedback, and coverage as needed. Requires bilingual Spanish, strong organizational and documentation skills, proficiency with measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, tape measures), basic Microsoft Office knowledge, and proven team leadership with the ability to drive process improvements and meet tight deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bi-lingual Spanish required
- 2 yrs Supervisory experience or 5 yrs Lead experience, or equivalent combination of leadership experience
- 3+ yrs fabrication experience, press brake and laser experience preferred
- 3 years of experience in Production operations/processes (Process Improvement, LEAN, 5S, etc.)
- Experience or familiarity with powder coating equipment (guns, booth, washer, dry oven, cure oven) is a plus
