Job Summary
Perform metal fabrication and custom modifications on trucks and trailers, including welding and reading blueprints. Install truck equipment such as liftgates and frames, while completing electrical wiring and troubleshooting for installed components. Read and interpret work orders and installation specifications, ensuring all tasks meet quality and safety standards. Collaborate with the shop team to complete projects efficiently. This hands-on role at a well-established diesel truck and trailer repair shop offers a stable, full-time Monday–Friday schedule with weekends off.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of fabrication and installation experience
- Experience with electrical work on truck equipment
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable personal transportation
- Metal fabrication experience
- Installation experience with truck equipment
- Electrical wiring and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to safely use fabrication tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working on commercial trucks and trailers
- Welding experience
- Ability to read blueprints or fabrication drawings
