Job Summary
Plan, assign, and supervise associates engaged in fabric operations, including monitoring production lines for quality and adjusting schedules as needed. Review production data for specific orders, manage time off and overtime coverage, and conduct disciplinary actions regarding company policy. Enforce safety protocols, communicate with facilities during breakdowns, and ensure associates complete required training. Maintain workplace safety, quality standards, and necessary records while leading a team of 9 to 35 people.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in nonwovens
- Operator training programs
- Mechanical or electrical aptitude
- Experience with fiber blending, carding, needle punch, winding, slitting, etc.
- Hands-on doer
- Fork Truck experience
- Lean manufacturing experience
- ISO knowledge
