Job Summary
FabPad Assembler responsibilities include assembling, fitting, and finishing foam cushions, fabricated pads, and related components used in ECS composite cases and enclosures. Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and production documentation to measure, cut, trim, and fit materials to required dimensions and tolerances; apply adhesives and bonding materials; install hardware, inserts, and other components; inspect materials and assemblies for quality and accuracy; maintain a clean, safe workspace following 5S; report material shortages or quality concerns to supervision; and perform additional duties as assigned. Requires attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other production machinery; capable of lifting up to 50 pounds; teamwork and effective communication with supervision.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with safety procedures and manufacturing best practices
