Job Summary
The Fab Shop Pipe Welder will perform welding functions according to job specifications, select equipment, and interact with supervision and QA/QC in a fabrication environment. Must be certified in multiple welding processes including GMAW/FCAW and capable of working under precise standards.
Required Qualifications
- Prior related experience in a fabrication environment
- Certification in GMAW/FCAW
- Certification in at least 2 other welding processes
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient in arc gouging
- Knowledgeable in various blueprint drawings
- Ability to utilize and interpret measuring devices and weld symbols
Additional Requirements
- Must maintain active DISA drug testing status
- Essential functions of the job are considered safety sensitive
