Job Summary
Characterize process space using Design of Experiment methodology and create test plans to validate new production processes. Qualify processes through organizational change management procedures while specifying tooling and capital equipment for workcenter Assurance of Supply and throughput requirements. Lead the workcenter to drive improvements in process sustaining, quality, equipment, and capacity, collaborating with worldwide engineering partners and operations stakeholders. Manage project teams to develop reliable, cost-effective solutions for moderately-complex products and deliver professionally written reports supporting operational and strategic plans. Mentors less experienced staff in process design and development while solving complex problems with independent judgment.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or other related discipline
- 4-7 years of work experience
- Experience in wafer or package fab process engineering
- Experience in process development
- Experience in stabilization
- Experience in sustaining
- Experience in quality systems
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD)
- Prior experience with Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD)
- Prior experience with Plasma Enhanced Chemical Chemical Vapor Deposition (PECVD)
- Experience in process development, stabilization, sustaining, and quality systems
