Job Summary
Perform visual and dimensional checks on materials, read blueprints for product specifications, and select, position, and secure tubing in saws. Set up fixtures, start machines, and engage feeds to move controls that position tools and workpieces. Observe operations to verify conformance of machined workpieces to specifications. Requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 10 pounds regularly or 25 pounds occasionally. 2nd shift Monday through Thursday from 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM with a $1.00 shift differential. Consistently, regularly, and predictably at work and on time.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear
