Job Summary

Develop and test first-of-a-kind automation technologies for Fab9, integrating hardware and software for robotics and automation applications in semiconductor manufacturing. Support equipment integration for both new and legacy factory automation systems, while designing, assembling, and integrating automated robotic manufacturing cells. Lead hands-on troubleshooting to resolve long-term performance issues and conduct in-depth data analysis to support decision-making and future business recommendations. Partner with operators and maintenance teams to evaluate existing equipment and develop specifications that sustain improvements. Perform all activities adhering to Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduating with Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation/Robotics, Computer Science or related field from an accredited degree program
  • Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing
  • Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
  • Travel - Up to 10%

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior co-op or internship in manufacturing environment
  • Mechanically inclined - a hands-on team member, able to deconstruct and understand complex systems
  • Passion for robotics and/or factory automation
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with robotics applications and controls, eg. clubs, projects, self-guided study
  • Self-motivated and able to solve problems independently and in team settings
  • Comfort working as both part of a team and/or entirely as an independent performer
  • Strong program management and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience and proficiency with CAD design software (eg. AutoCAD)
  • Knowledge of semiconductor/silicon processing
  • Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning & organizational skills
